Event photography is more than just capturing what happens on a stage or in a crowd. It's about being able to read a crowd, predict social interactions and know what a musician is about to do. It's about being able to link separate moments into a story, to view the big picture and small details simultaneously. It’s about being able to put the guests and participants at ease with the energy and conversation you bring.
I've shot everything from raucous, loud, and live music events to large production weddings. I've covered book launches, author readings, event ceremonies, and corporate team-building days. In any kind of event I've shot over the last 10+ years, I've always brought my mixture of technical ability, flexibility, social skills, and creative senses to capture the story at hand with positive results.
